Today’s Museum Minute features special guest Rich Cooper (@NURFCrich). Rich, Interpretative Services Manager at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center (and a fellow Bearcat alum! Go UC!), is here to tell us about how the NURFC’s recent trip to St. Louis will assist in guiding his interpretive plan for next year.
Let me start off by saying, yes, the NURFC’s Education trip was very fun (St. Louis is a great city!) but it was also very educational! How about that!
Rich asked those of us on the trip (docents, staff and even our bus driver) to fill out worksheets analyzing the tour experience at each of our destinations. Why?
Rich wants to rebuild the NURFC’s tour experience. Pretty exciting stuff!
